Not annually, but for many years, we've created an event called "TWO CANS for $10". This canned food drive helps a local church stockpile a pantry to minister to some of our neighbors in our community.
The event simply asks for each customer to bring 2 canned good items in and receive $10 off their ticket at checkout. And then at the end of the canned food drive, we match all the donations with our own, pile them in the truck and take them down to the church. The combined donation is usually hundreds and hundreds of canned food items. Which goes a long long way!
This year we wanted to do more. More for our community, and more for our customers. So, we're offering "TWO CANS for 10%". This will give our customers a larger discount for more extensive work that might be needed on their vehicles. And perhaps, it will give more incentive to participate with TWO CANS in our event to support our neighbors.
